Coppersmith Workshops – A Unique Experience in Mostar

Dear friends and followers,

At the end of last year, we started a project in cooperation with USAID, with the aim of offering visitors to Mostar a special experience – creative workshops in making copper jewelry.

Through this project, we managed to create our website, purchase additional tools, and record a promotional video. In this way, we created one of the rare practical experiences of the traditional coppersmith craft in Mostar, with which our guests were extremely satisfied.

The final phase of the project was planned for advertising on social media, which was supposed to last for several months during the spring. Unfortunately, due to the termination of USAID by President Trump, this activity was not realized. Nevertheless, even without these advertisements, the response from tourists was satisfactory for us.

We regret that the allocated funds did not end up in the promotion of our workshop for only one reason – because they, unfortunately, most likely went to support the holocaust in Palestine.

We want to express our gratitude to the entire USAID team in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Without their support, this idea would have been realized much more slowly and with much more difficulty.
